About Lumie
At Lumie we specialise in light therapy and only light therapy. Nothing else.
Based just outside Cambridge, UK, we have been researching, designing and developing light therapy products for 20 years, using the natural benefits of light to help treat SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), combat jet lag and improve sleep and mood.
We pioneered the concept of integrated dawn simulators and began selling lights to wake you up way back in 1993. These days we have a complete dawn simulator range and the 'Bodyclock' range is a best-seller, largely responsible for bringing light therapy into the mainstream health and well-being arena.
Now we're taking light therapy in a new direction with innovative new products like Lumie Haylight which uses light to alleviate hay fever symptoms quickly, simply and without side-effects. Lumie Clear for acne also launched this year and has been well-received by both the media and consumers, many of whom have told us they are delighted with the results.
In the UK, our products are now available through major retailers like John Lewis, Boots, Tesco and Selfridges and we have an expanding network of distributors across Europe and in North America.
Our position as Europe's leader in this specialist area of health and well-being means that we have excellent connections within the scientific community, a wealth of product know-how and lots of valuable consumer feedback.
