Good morning all, can tell by the postings that Suzie is at her lamp already! I tried to read in bed with mine, but couldn't get comfy, so went down, got brekkie and the laptop and now sitting in bed catching up with stuff here. There's no heating here as building work is still going on so it's the warmest place to be!

Yes, but you must promise to keep your eyes open for the Food Police, who are known to operate in this area. SHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Don't worry - they operate under the auspices of Kommandant Gillian McKeith and she's too busy dispproving of Sunday dinners to notice. You've got a window of opportunity!

Hmmm How far north in the UK WP?

DO you realise that we're supposed to think that GMcK is very clever with her PHD? I understand that it's not in nutrition. Can't remember what it is in though.

I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne. And I'm of the opinion that if you are what you eat, GMcK must have eaten a right miserable cow! Even when I agree with what she's saying, I generally just want to slap her on principle. She needs more chocolate in my opinion!

Yo peeps.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here.
Do you think most peeps here are in relationships coz it seems that way.
The reason I ask is i'd quite like the opportunity to meet/chat to single women with SAD but not sure if there's any lovely ladies of the single variety in here, they all seem loved up.
I think it would possibly be simpler to date a saddy than a "normal" gal for obvious reasons, what do you lot reckon?

Hey OBE. I'm a single girl (although "girl" is definitely pushing it), so we're not all "loved up"! I'm not sure if two SAD sufferers in a relationship wouldn't be a recipe for disaster though. What does anyone else think?

I know what you mean Ms Pig.
But just think we could spend all winter being miserable together....
I'm a geordie by the way...
Come on then why would you struggle to call yourself a girl, are you a punk, he/she, tomboy, weight lifter or a transgender or non of the above?

Just not as young as I used to be! Not old, just definitely left my girlhood behind me. And very un-girly - I do own a dress, but it doesn't see the light of day very often!

Nothing against it - just can't be bothered! Takes me all my time to get washed and dressed most mornings, couldn't be harrassed slapping on makeup and blow drying. Have been known to make an effort on nights out, but not very often.

OBE have just looked at your profile and see that you like Motorbikes. I like them too and have spent a good bit of my life dating biker type guys. I even named two of my children after Bikes. Bonnie & Vincent. but still managed to go through life without even ridden pilion as this is one of my phobias :(

So sad bilbo.
You should do your test even if u don't get a bike, it's such a rush, it makes me feel alive, probably the only thing that does!
Been out today done 200 frantic miles but I think i'll probably leave it be until spring because i've got that horrible spaced out stoned feeling now and find my judgment and reactions poor.
Not to worry there's always tv???

Decide which picture you want and save it on your PC. Then when you're in the forum click on "My Account" (in the very top right hand corner, next to "Welcome Back"). Where it says "Profile" there is a link which says "Upload a Profile Image". Click on that, then click "Browse" and find the picture you've saved and click "Open". It has to be under a certain size or it won't accept it - I had to fiddle around with mine for a while to get it to fit. Hope that helps.
