Sweets are everywhere about now! I find I just can't seem to make myself say 'no' despite the best of my intentions.

Anyone having any better luck than I am? How're you managing it?

I'm not managing it Amalthea but have resorted not to eat much chocolate and have discovered Haribo lites. Little jelly sweets, low in sugar and no fat. No colourings or additives. They seem to do the trick.

I joined Weight Watchers in August, so I'm trying to stick to a healthy eating plan. I'm still getting cravings, especially for chocolate and chips, but I'm more or less managing not to go overboard this year. It's really hard going though!

Is there anyone like me that loses their appetite when they get depressed? I'm eating enough to survive and losing weight. Sometimes I can't taste it properly and have to force it down.

I know what you mean, sometimes I eat because I have to,but with very little interest in the food.

I am totally the opposite..... I comfort eat so the more depressed I get the more I eat!! I usually gain approx 1st every winter. I then try and lose it in the summer but I haven't done that for the past 3 years so hense I am about 5 stone overweight. I have tried this year and lost 1.5 stone so I will be very happy if I can maintain through the winter this year.
