Hey everyone

Has anyone tried cognitive behaviour therapy to help with the symptoms of SAD? My docs sending me to a therapist on Monday and I was wondering if it had helped anyone on the forum before?

I'm personally not a fan of CBT,it seems like a "a one size fits all" type of therapy. But good luck with it anyway,I'm sure there are people on here with positive views on it.

I am quite interested in CBT, I had been seeing a cousellor for it re losing weight and it worked for the short time I could use it. I think the key with it is that you only get out of it what you put in, the longer and the more you stick with it, the better effect it will have and it depends how you interpret the information that determins the outcome.

Sending positive vibes your way :)

I am also supposed to be starting CBT, I must admit I'm not too confident that it will work but will give it a go.

Will keep you informed of how it goes
