I wish you all the light in the world today for your birthday.

Try to enjoy yourself flower. This is only a temporary condition, stick with us, we all feel the same at one time or another.

Hi Everyone who wished me happy birthday
Thank you so much, I think today was one of the worst days because it was my birthday and I felt so miserable. I've been having ups and downs where one day I feel slight waves of positivity are getting through then the next day I feel despair. I've been getting anxious about loads of little things that normally I just laugh off and put down to life experiences, but I feel I've forgotten how to laugh.
I just hope my medication, light box and/or walks are all going to help.

We're all with you chuck, we know just what youre feeling.

Come and have a natter when you feel low, and support the rest of us when you are feeling better. That would be wonderful.

Just remember that SAD is not necessarily cureable but it is treatable. If one thing doesnt work, try another.

Something I tried to do the other day, when I cried for almost two days :- I put a smile on my face (just enough to lift the corners of my mouth and not make my mouth ache), yep I know its hard but not impossible. I worked down the street feeling pretty stupid, but I must admit that I strangely felt a little better, and some people even smiled back.

Come back soon, take care

Hi Crissie and happy birthday for yesterday!

I also have a November birthday - In the past I go through the year with all sorts of plans about what I'm going to do - I'd then cancel them the week before as I didn't want to do anything and was convinced nobody would come anyway!

Happy Birthday, hope your week gets better x

Hi Everyone
I feel a lot better today probably because it is sunny and I think the fluoxitine I am on may be starting to kick in. I don't want to get my hopes up to early though in case I feel down again, which I know is possible if it rains again. I just want to get my appetite back as I have lost a bit of weight and I'm already a skinny old rake. I am so glad to hear that I am not the only person in the world to feel like this. I am going to eat now and have a nap.
Crystal
