I would be most grateful, thankyou

EDIT, or is it just a technical fault and i`m over reacting again!

I don't think it's always working. If it's that kind of flat dark green I don't think it's working, as that is how it is in the summer. Sometimes the european one is working when the UK isn't. I presume it's dependent on information that is sometimes unavailable.

I don't think it's a cast iron guarantee, but just another possible tool in helping to deal with SAD.

cheers for that, i just find it more helpful than the t.v. weather ie, how cloudy it will be over here as the clouds where i live tend to be very dense if not permantent at the moment, and so i can give a bit of an idea what kind of mood i will be in, if i see some sunshine i try and make the most of it, if its gonna be cloudy i know i`m going to be grumpy so best hibernate, if you get what i mean!!!
Gosh you`re fast off the ball aren`t you, lol

Was coughing and disturbing dh, so came back down to sleep in the 'grandad' chair. Lovely electric recliner that my fil got when he was terminally ill. My mil hasn't got room for it so I'm 'looking after it' for her!

Well you'll see this morning that we're on the edge of the dark purple Paulst!

I feel OK, but getting out of bed wasn't easy.... the electricians had the power off yesterday. I noticed in the middle of the night that my dawn simulator wasn't set right!

i love the sun in the summer but in the winter i dream of places in the tropics with more daylight and warm weather .in winnipeg even if the suns out its -30 to -40 c in dec - feb .do you think nearsightness may cause SAD be worse.

Not sure about near-sightedness, but cataracts, or similar that reduces the light reaching the back of the eye, does.

I must admit that most of the photos I enjoy taking have a lot of sunlight in them, perhaps its because we are always on the lookout for the sun at this time of the year.

Well, if you are silly, I think I must be too. Dont you just love it when you are out for a walk and the sun breaks through the clouds. Im sure some people think im a bit nutty when I just stand there gazing into the sky, waiting for the sun to go back behind the clouds.

Well, we have only got a few more weeks to put up with before we reach the shortest day, then we can start planning for Spring as the days get longer again.I can only think of one thing I like about this time of the year and thats snow. Before anyone thinks ive gone mad, I dont mean the slushy stuff we often get, but wonderful white crispy snow, and if you get frosty clear day after the snow has fallen, it feels really bright and cheerful.

I haven't ever seen the SAD map as deep purple as it is today! It's sunny here at the moment, but every 10 minutes it starts lashing it down with rain and goes all dark again!

The weather in Manchester today is awful, heavy rain and a very dark sky, I can imagine what the sad map looks like.

I can't get away with blonde during the winter though.... I'm far tooo pasty. When the tan (or fake tan in my case LOL!) goes, then so does the blonde hair!
