Is anyone else experiencing a huge desire to eat (anything and everything in sight)?? Today I made pumpkin pudding (2 large servings) and consumed it all on top of a large lunch. Tried to balance it off by taking a walk, but fear that calories consumed were far more than those burned. (The walk DID make me feel better, though).

YES!

And holiday parties and family visiting... It's so hard! I am really trying, though.

I feel like I'm never full... until I'm suddenly overful and hurting. :(

I've found that eating slower helps me, gives my brain time to catch up with my tummy!or should that be the other way round>

Paul,
I had a dream about finding a huge box of dark chocolates; woke up before I could eat any, though :(

You are really strong, Paul. If I had chocolate in my house it would be gone within the day. I envy people who can have such stuff in the house and leave it alone!! The only way I can keep from eating it is if it isn't there!!

Oh, the Christmas parties! Having a social life is KILLING my waistline and look... it's only DECEMBER 2ND!!!!!

I went away for the weekend.. had an overnight stay in a cottage out in the country with a bunch of my co-workers. We had dinner on Friday night and breakfast Saturday morning. Any indication of how I'm doing? I had PIE for breakfast!

Had another party tonight... just had some celery, 3 crackers and two shrimp along with some tea. Have to pat myself on the back, because there was MUCH yummy food there. It helps that I ate a chicken sandwich before I went as part of a late lunch!

We've had comfort food tonight. Home made (very lean good quality beef) in wholemeal rolls and spicy potato wedges (a drizzle of olive oil) also home-made. Bits and pieces with them of course... have to say, I passed on the bread roll, as potato wedges is quite enough carb for me.

Then we did a rather unhealthy comparison as to whether Aldi or Lidl Lebkuchenherzen are the nicest! Watch out for the food police!

What's the best night for Suzie and me to call round? LOL!
