This morning I found the dog biscuit in the 'fridge.
Peculiar behaviour seems to bedevil SAD sufferers in winter.
Any other confessions ?

I tend to run into things with my cart at the grocery store when I'm really pummeled with SAD.

Thankfully, I mostly wreck displays and fail to turn corners. I haven't run any fellow shoppers down... yet.

I do that an awful lot.

When I'm in a manic phase, my thoughts sometimes run so fast that the listener can't tell how I got from point A to point B. If you ask me, I can explain the thought process perfectly.

If my brain were working that way right now, I could give an example, but it's not.

In other words, my brain is a mess even when the sun comes out again. ;)

I find the information in my brain gets kind of mixed up, so instead of coming out with a sensible answer, I start talking gibberish.

Was so proud of myself for putting the Christmas tree up at work without any help. It's a beast to manage the lights and everything.

Got it up, lights on, most of the ornamants on... and my senior co-worker walks by and says, "The tree is short!"

Eh? Short?!

I look in the box, and there's another piece... that attaches to the BOTTOM of the fully decorated Christmas tree. Fortunately, my co-worker was kind enough to hold the fully-decorated tree while I fumbled with the base.

Our Christmas tree grew!

Aww amalthea!! That's so cute! :)
And Paul - I talk gibberish all the time!! I tend to think aloud a lot... OR forget that I've actually been talking to myself in my head and expect people to know what I'm talking about!!

Im glad im not the only one to forget what they are talking about. Last christmas we started to put up the wrong tree. In our attic we have 2 christmas trees, 1 very old one which I forgot to throw away and a nice new one, so of course I got the old one from the attic and started to put it up in the living room, its so tatty anyone would notice it was the wrong one, I felt a complete idiot, and my memory is so bad, I still havent thrown away the old tree.

ya Christmas is the hardest. I haven't put up the tree or even wrapped anything yet. Hubby is off on the 21st so I should get it done then.
