Hi, I'm Oley. I'm 16 and I recently found out that I have SAD. Over the past few months, my panic attacks, (which I have had infrequently since young childhood) had been getting worse, especially during the night hours and soon came along feelings of hopelessness and general (moderate) depression. I had been on a healthy diet but I soon trashed that with my carb cravings. During one night I was having a panic attack, I started googling around in an attempt to distract myself and found information on SAD. I printed out some info and talked to my doctor about it and my panic attacks. She said yes, I more than likely had it and that panic attacks often occur with SAD. Armed with that diagnosis, I've rethought why I was having my PAs and I've changed my daily routine. I guess I can count myself lucky that I live in Florida but having to change my night owl disposition is kinda hard. xD I'll see you all around to discuss SAD and share updates on how I'm doing!!
