hey guys im only 17 and have been diagnosed with SAD was wondering if there are any other people of a similar age on here as i no im quite young 2 b affected by it. also any advice on how to cope with it i ve got a light at the mo but still find tht i feel down a fair bit

I'm 23 Ed - was 19 when I was diagnosed. Have u just been diagnosed?

was diagnosed last year with it having suffered frm depressions since i was bout 13 14 but i put tht down 2 family break up etc. how long ago were u diagnosed?

It was 4 years ago - the Doctors had put it down to stress to begin with then they started monitoring me (sooooo many doctors appointments!!) then diagnosed it as SAD

oh ryt so you ve had it for quite a while then. yh most doctos dnt seem 2 have a clue about it. i only got diagnosed with it because my doctor had it himself so he knew about it

wow... ur doctor must be a pretty good support then i would guess if he has SAD

yh he is part frm most of the year i am at college ova 200 miles away which dont rele help but yh he was a gd dr
