What if any phobia's do u have? no matter how strange.

Mine is the shiny metal bars on buses, bright light (usually artificial), & more rarely sharp corners of things like tables/furniture.

I don't have phobias that are two bad. I jump at loug noices and I love the sun. I can see where you would be connected to shiny things because of the light they give off sho I don't think that is so bacd. Shap corner of things. well that could be just because you are affaid to hurt yourself. Some Medications make you bruse more easily. Sorry this is all I could come up with to help you.

I've got a wierd one where I freak out if my limbs are restrained. I'm certain it's because when I was younger I was really hyper and the teachers at my school used to grab me and hold me till I calmed down (after lots of screaming and biting!). I'm pretty certain it's not what's recommended for teaching practice now!

oh and SGL I also jump at loud noices which causes no end of amusement to my friends - especially when we're at the movies!

When I was a bit younger, I had a fear of wasps. I think it was down to when I was 5 years old, because I was stung in the eye, it took me years to get over it and even now im very careful if there are any wasps about.

I forgot and how I don't know but I have a fear of spiders. I will watch it and yell for my other half to come and kill it.
sandyb. I hate that when people think its funny to have someone scared. They sometimes don't even think how it can affect us.

Paul, that sounds awful, I would be phobic of wasps too if that happened to me!

I don't have any phobias but I do feel panicky if I can't get out of somewhere, like if I'm in the middle of a row in the cinema.

Ewww, ick... anything with more than 4 legs makes me freeze up. Now that I live on my own and the apartment gets mostly small spiders (these little yellow ones) that are slow, I can manage to kill them OK... so this might be good therapy for me... ;)

When I was little, I nearly got into the bathtub with a wolf spider. When I saw it, I thought it was neat... tried to wash it down the drain... but it rolled into a ball and didn't *FIT* in the drain. At that point, I freaked out and have been afraid of spiders since.

Now and then, I get a bit of claustrophobia. Not often.

I have a bad fear of someone touching my eyes or doing that test for strep throat where they swab the back of your throat. When the eye doc tries to test for glaucoma, they have to hold me down. Most of the time, they can't do it. Last time they tried, I kept holding my breath and I nearly passed out. I once kicked an eye doctor... that was the first time I realized I had the phobia... I kind of shoved my knee into him.

Well I don't like to touch paper and cardboard, which is funny considering I do a lot of admin work. I have to hold paper by the corners.

that is a weird one but then again you never know what the paper or cardboard has touched. so I could understand that one.
