I dont know if anyone here has OCD like i do, but if there is anyone i have a question. Do you find your OCD symptoms get worse the more your SAD gets worse?? especially at this time of year

Yes I find that in my self, obsessive styles of thinking and focussing repetitively on things (particularly negatively, but also creatively and in terms of being interested in and researching things) happens more when I'm craving sunshine and feeling low. I get very introverted and obsessed with doing activities where I can work alone without interruption, which is quite different from how I am in the summer, more gregarious and able to multi-task in work.

I don't think I have OCD but I do find that I get a little OCDish when my SAD is quite bad. I used to go a bit overboard about checking locks and would get very worried about my family and horse dying, often ending up in tears about. Fingers crossed since I've had my lamp, I have barely stressed over any of these things.

I really think my lamp supports my meds because my meds didn't work this effectively before.

I have mild OCD and find it gets worse with the onset of the SAD season.
