Has anyone tried any of the portable lumie devices? Particularly regarding their effectiveness and ease of mobility of the devise - for example you might want to avoid a portable devise that was liable to break easily

I haven't tried one of the portable Lumie devices, but do have one of the Apollo Go-Lites. I'm struggling to get the timing of the ligh right, but I can say I'm happy with the overall quality, functionality and robustness of the device. The battery stores enough charge for about 2 hours of usage. Although I have to say the profit margins on these things must be insane - $300USD for some LED lights and a digital clock!
