A fantastic book for SAD sufferers who don't know about it!

Hi Donna, I amreading this at the moment and also find it a very good/ enlightening book.

I'm reading it too, it's really good, very readable and reassuring. I read it in front of my light box every morning!

got the book a month ago and it helped alot.

Thanks for the clue, i don't have any book about Sad yet and i think it can be very usefull, just order one second hand for 20$

I am finding that diet alteration makes a big improvement to my symtoms. Still have some 'SAD' times from time to time, but SAD is a problem which sends me into a vicious circle - Feel tired, eat carbs, feel more tired, eat more carbs etc -
till Im desparately trying to stay awake using sugar and then cant sleep at night cos the same sugar wont let me sleep!

So its inevitable that I will drop back from time to time. It takes a huge, huge effort to gain control again, but it is certainly worth it.

Ive also changed my diet to take out all the things that make me feel tired, that has helped too. I found wheat a problem, but even this week found something else that sent me to sleep for two hours so its a continual learning curve

Exercise is brill too, you know. It gives me a mood lift that seems to help me reduce those sugar cravings and increase positive attitude.
