Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum.
Was diagnosed with SAD in 2002/3 and had my worst winter so far in 2003/4.
Following medication, counselling, and CBT, I am now in a position to attempt a Winter with (drum roll please)... NO MEDICATION!!!
So far, I'm doing OK, but am now starting to feel constantly tired, and my lightbox arrives this week so fingers crossed...
Wishing you all well, however you are coping...

Lightbox made a huge difference for me, too. It was the difference between barely making it home from work and falling into bed and sleeping until morning and actually having some time to myself in the evening and just having an earlier bedtime in the winter.

Good luck and feel free to post with an update on how you're managing!

Thanks Guys, the lightbox seems to be working well. I have it on my desk at work and I switch it on as soon as I get in (around 6.30am) and keep it on until the sun is properly up (approx. 2 hours at the moment).
So far, so good... we'll see how it continues as the light decreases.
