I am still relatively new to computer technology, but I think that we should all send in a picture of ourselves, so that we all have a picture in our head of how we are chatting to !!!

This is if you can & if you want to of course, go on be brave!!! :? :? :?

If I can do it then anyone can (he hee!)

To see me, just go to the memberlist at the top of this page, find my name and then click on my website !!! As simple as that!

When my website appears, look at the bottom right hand side of the page to see an awful picture of myself (gosh, why am I doing this, need some back up from you guys to do the same, please!!!)

Hope you think that this is a good idea. When we chat, we know what we all look like!

Well done Donna ~ true it is good to have a face to fit all the posts! In fact it would help me a lot and I would get less muddled about who is who. In my head you had short dark hair! Really good pics of you and Rambo too. But, don't know that I am that brave, still don't feel all that confident about the internet. Or perhaps it is simply life's baggage which I struggle round with... Anyway, I am fair, medium length hair and blue eyes, 5' 6", square'ish face and slightly too comfy!

Wonder who will be next! Well done again!

Hi Julie, :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Thank you very much for the encouragement. After I had put them through & there was no going back, I started to worry about what I had done!

I don't usually like to give too much away about myself, but saying all that, with all you lot I have been communicating with , I felt quite at home & more at ease than with any other website.

I feel among friends with no bitchiness from any of you guys, this I find a great comfort.

OK, I will stop being soppy now (ha ha !!)

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hey Donna,
you look fab. I don't mind putting pics of me up too, but no idea how to. (or maybe I have but it is late and my brain won't work...)
I can see you already had a website, but how did you link from here to your site??

Well I cannot remember how I actually done it, but I follow the wizard to help me !! Thanks for saying that I look fab, I needed that today Dawn :D :D :D :D :D

I will explain why:

Today I had off for christmas shopping. My glands have been up the last few days and a sore throat. I didn't really realize how bad I was until I broke down in Tescos (luckily after I had paid on one of those new self service tills), so I had to get out quick

I felt angry, my partner was with me though. I started to get impatient and was feeling rough anyway. I was like a time bomb waiting to go off.

I'm not looking forward to going back to work in the morning, I will see how I feel. My legs are fatigue and I feel a bit sad!!!

Most not let this take over my life no matter what :D :D :D

Donna honey,
sorry to hear you feel so bad at the mo. There are lots of flus and colds flying about which may cause glands to come up, and that + SAD really is bad news. Rather like ironing making me cry, supermarket shopping really can have a negative effect. I would honestly rather clean the toilet than do the grocery shopping!! I hope your other half was sympathetic. I had a dreadful day yesterday. Basically I am on a one year contract at work which is up in Jan, and although myself and my manager thought funding was being renewed for next year and most people think I have done a fab job, one or two of the Councillors (I work for a Town Council) have been going around doing a smear campaign to get rid of me. (Probably because I have shaken things up too much and they don't want their sleepy town to progress.) Now I have to wait until after their meeting tomorrow night to know if I have a job for next year. As if that wasn't bad enough my hubby was feeling really tired and grumpy and shouted at me when I got home. That was the straw that broke the camel's back and I spent the next half hour crying and being comforted by my 11 year old. (What must that kid think??!!) I ended up taking a huge whiskey to bed!! But today was much better and I saw the piece we filmed on Anglia News.g The reporter looked as cute as I remember (sigh!!)

Hope you feel better soon. You may feel totally on top form tomorrow - you know how unpredictable SAD is....

xxxxxxx :? :? :?

Dear Dawn, :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Sorry I have only just read your message, not been on computer since Monday. I didn't go in to work on Tuesday because of feeling rough, but struggled back in yesterday!!!

I hope your meeting went well Dawn. There are some funny people around who can make your life awkward and they don't like change.

If you are not having your contract renewed, then their loss!! Another employment will be glad to have you Dawn :D :D :D :D :D :D

Let me know how it went, I hope it went well :D

Take care honey

Chat to you and all soon xx

p.s thank you for your support too!

Donna, your picture looks great, nothing to worry about there! If I printed mine I'd scare people...

Supermarkets, ugh, they are enough to turn me into a psychopath even in summer. Too many people, too many aisles, too many small decisions. I've got a smallish safeway within a couple of minutes walk (no doubt due to become a morrisons next year) and even that does my head in when I'm in the checkout queue. Sometimes I think we should all go back to the days of little shops, butchers, bakers, greengrocers, it doesn't seem like progress.

Dawn, agree with Donna - if the contract isn't renewed, their loss.

Hi Lorraine,

I'm the same about supermarkets in the summer. My partner has been doing the food shopping on his own for ages, this suits me and he enjoys it too !!! (says I mess it all up!)

If you have someone to do this for you it would be a great help. We had a new Morrisons built 10 minutes from us just over a year ago and it's a great store.(just thought that I'd add that in, ha)

Had really bad day yesterday! Have just got on the Nurse Training course for March, after been a Health care Assistant for 8 years. I had an interview to get a secondment for it because I wouldn't be able to afford the training otherwise.

Anyway, I really get nervous about interviews at the best of times, but with having a virus and SAD too I was my usual self as you all know what that's like.

Well there was a panel of 3 people, 1 of them I knew and get on well with, the other was lovely and was impressed with my written work, but the 3rd person..........

Well it's hard to explain, she lost ther plot, looked at me with very cold eyes, was not clear with her questions and asked me the ame question twice!!

I'm afraid this put me off and felt that she didn't like me!

She did phone me to confirm that I got the secondment which was brill, but this was after an afternoon of crying in bed!! Was very confussed about why she was like this to me.

This morning I spoke to one of the 3 that I get on well with and she told me that her and the other lady had noticed this bad vibe in the interview and didn't understand it . Also it was the good 2 that argued against the bad one about letting me get it! She was like it to another lady too ???

Anyway, it's good news, from March 1st I leave my beloved clinic to start my proper nurse training (as they call it to me!) and I will be a student after all these years, ha ha !!!

Take care all

Hi donna,

There's no-one else to shop for me, since my husband has a really long commute and I work from home on an extremely p/t basis it doesn't seem fair to ask him. I tried Ocado recently, usually I've found online food shopping about as time consuming as going in person, but they were very good, and only about 1 item in a big order failed to turn up. A bit pricey though.

Congratulations on getting your secondment! The interview sounded really difficult, you have to wonder whether the woman was having an off day herself if she asked the same question twice.

Hi Lorraine,

Just to let you know that the women who was a bit odd towards me in my interview, I have found out today from my old boss that she suffers from manic depression and knows her personally and says she is strange too!!!

I'm not one to knock anyone with depression as you know, but begs the question, if she is like this alot, should she be a manager in human resources ??

Anyway, all the best and have a lovely christmas and happy new year to you all

Love Donna x
