Hi
I am really chuffed, after 4 years of thinking i was dying of somthing i came across the symptoms of SAD.Tried, lethargy, and weak immune system, which all go in spring and summer.
I'm ill at home with a chest infection, and after 4 years of being ill all winter every winter i'm a bit fed up.
I'v had every blood test going,(nothing) and drs gave me prozac last year, but nothing has helped,so i thought i'd try help meself.I'm going to the dr. after xmas with all my SAD info. And getting a light box. Which are good??
I have 2 children, and my 9 year old was crying at school the other day, saying his mum was gonna die, so i need to do something.

Does anyone else think i may have SAD??

Please help, in the summer months im happy and fun, and would love to go back to being like that all the time.

Hi Clare
Best £200 I spent was in buying Apollo lightbox from Outside In, in 1998. It saved my life. I also find natural alarm clock invaluable as I work shifts, often having to get up at 0600 hrs.
After self-diagnoses I read all I could re SAD, and then changed my life accordingly. Good books are Winter Blues by Norman Rosenthal and SAD by Angela Smyth.

Never give up....
Take Care, Lesley x
