Hello all,
Well just moaning because I feel like I am on the verge of getting full blown flu/colds/sore throats for most of the winter. I keep up the regime light/prozac/vitamins/healthy eating/reduction in workload and which also (importantly) includes exercise in a bid to increase my resistance (it works mostly) then bang I am shivering and aching with flu without any seeming change in my underlying flu like symptoms. I make myself exercise particularly when I feel I have flu coming and most times it reduces my symtoms(endomorphins Possibly). I won't feel like exercising for approximately two weeks (usually) as it takes me a long time to recover from flu and feel like I am nearly starting again with my fitness AAAAAAArghg!! Anyway moan over!

I think i'll go and shoot a few Robins with my crossbow and make a necklace with them. Later i'll pray at the druids altar to the gods of flight.

Get well soon poor old Siddy!

I personally feel that rest is better if you are coming down with something, the body needs to relax! Once those sore throats and glands are up, its annoying! (had it 2 weeks ago)

Take it easy and theres nowt you can do cause it has to run its course so put your feet up and put your bike away until you are better!

Yep, I too can confirm it must be Christmas ... I'm all cooked out, just discovered I have a moment to perhaps relax a little, and hey presto, hacking cough, streaming cold and aches everywhere. Am, as a result, convinced that the best immune system booster is adrenaline - the minute I stop pumping it I fold up like a house of cards. Taking Echinacea is also highly beneficial, but haven't been organised enough to remember to take it. Woe is me... sniff.

Get well soon Siddy, and anyone else out there who is under the weather.. Julie
