Hi Pete ~ it's back to the vendor of the lightbox or the bulbs, armed with box and I am sure they'll fix it for you. Julie

I wish it was that simple I bought my light box from america because I couldnt get hold of one over here that was powerfull enough for me, shipping it over would cost me a fortune

Hi again Pete ~ right, armed with your lightbox and the bulbs, go back to the place where you bought the bulbs. These people are sure to be professional electronic/electrical engineers as they stock this rather unusual bulb (you might even have bought the wrong bulb !) , and ask them if they could fix it for you. I always go to someone who is knowledgable when I am in doubt, we can't all be brilliant at absolutely everything after all. Everyone has to make a living, and you will probably save money in the end by not needing to purchase Superglue! Have a good day......Julie
