I am a SAD sufferer teaching in a secondary school. The reports of behaviour problems among some of the pupils seems markedly worse this term than in previous term. The main problems are inattentiveness, poor concentration and lack of organisation rather than major disruptions. The father of one year 9 boy said that his son (admittedly not the easiest student) was so much more cooperative and happy during the summer months. Aren't we all?
I'd be interested to hear from anyone closely involved with teenagers who has any similar experience and advice. even better, any teenage sufferers out there who can pass on their comments and suggestions?
