Hi,

I have just found these forums and thought I would say Hi! and put down what works for me.

I use one of the Sunrise alarm clock thingies to help me wake up ... as that is the most inconvenient symptom for me. Struggling to get out of bed and then not feeling alive until around 11am in the morning.

I also take SJW. After much experimentation over several years I start taking it mid September (usually just before the clocks change as this throws my bodyclock out) until mid April. Like many others I did not want to take any 'drugs' unless I absolutely had to, and then the minimal dose possible. Over the course of several years I tried lots of options, both in conjunction with the sunrise alarm clock and also before I got it. I now take 2 of the Kira 3-a-day variety in the morning with a glass of juice.

This seems to work for me and after several years of fairly severe symtoms I now have them under control enough that it only minimally affects my life. Another thing that really helps is regular excercise (something I am slacking on this year :( )

The reason I came to the outside in site is that my sunrise alarm clock has just broken ... I wondered if anyone else has had any problems? After paying £100 I expects it to last longer than 2 years to be honest, and its not really all that complex an equipment is it?
