Hi- a friend asked me whether Lumie Clear is safe to use while pregnant and I just wondered if anybody knows of research that has been done in this area, please? I've read of people using Lumie Clear while pregnant, but lots of other light boxes using similar technology have a "not for use during pregnancy" disclaimer on them so I'm a bit confused! Thanks in advance :).

I have not read any literature that would suggest that this product is unsafe in pregnancy.

From a more theoretical point of view, since there is little to no UV light emitted from Lumie Clear – I can not see any dangers from using it – “As directed”

Thank you! I thought the contraindication was strange too, I can't find or think of any explanation for it... I'll tell my friend :).
