Hi there,

I've been fighting with acne for over 10 years now. It has finally improved after many facial peels, microdermabrasions and lots of expensive products that I'm using every day, but I have large pores and lots of black heads now. My question is; is Lumie effective on this type of problem?

Thank you,

Hi, the studies all show that light treatment is less effect at treating the blackhead type of acne in comparison to the inflammatory acne.

The trial still showed that 58% people had an improvement in their blackheads (compared with 76% for inflammation).

So there should be some benefit.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further information.

It got rid of mine - I used to get 2-3 per month on my cheeks or near my hairline and haven't had any since the first month of using Lumie Clear (apart from on my nose where I don't use the light).
