We are developing a glass "skin" for cladding to low-cost social housing projects in Scandinavia. This "skin" must reduce the effect of extreme weather conditions on the fabric of the building, it must improve the aesthetics and I have also been thinking that it could become a huge light box. The technology is not difficult, but are communities ready for this? Even though it could extend the datlight hours (which are quite short during the winter in Scandinavia), it would mean imposing SAD lighting on hundreds of people at a time. Are there any dtrimental efects of this lighting?
