I bought my Lumie Bodyactive 250 about two months ago, and initially I was a little dubious that it would help me get over a real slump at getting up. I was totally incapable of waking up to take an early morning swim, and this would mean the whole day I felt sluggish and tired. Since Lumie came into my life, I actually wake a few seconds before the alarm goes off, despite the fact that my room is pitch dark, and then the dawn light and birdsong starts! I feel eased gently into the day rather than roused abruptly by a traditional alarm. I am usually in the pool now by 6.30am, and my whole day, and in fact my whole feeling of well-being is enhanced! My work colleague has been so impressed by my glowing recommendations that he is planning to get one for his birthday later this month.

I am an international pentathlete and have been given the Bodyactive 250 for a months trial. I used to struggle getting up in the mornings due to very strenuous training schedules 6 days a week. I would wake up in the morning and the only thing I could think about was going back to bed. Since having my Lumie it has made a real difference. The early mornings do not leave me feeling exhausted. I get up straight away as I have been woken very slowly and in a very relaxed manner. It has meant that my first sessions of the day have been far more productive and I have noticeably improved in performance through my technical sports during these morning sessions. I have recommended it to all my fellow pentathletes.
