Can anyone recommend a decent SAD lamp? I'm looking for a one that most resembles the spectrum of natural sunlight and is brighter than average.

Cheers.

Depends on what you call decent. The way it looks or the way it works?
I just got myself the Brightspark: it looks great since it is made (mainly) out of aluminium and hasn't got that plastic look like most others. Also, due to it's shape, it is rather flexible on how you want to position it. I just got it standing next to my laptop. The eyes need a bit of adjusting to the screen now, with the bright light next to it, but so far so good.

Ordered the medisana happy life yesterday. £99 and seems like it's slightly more powerful than others in the price range and it's white light like I wanted not blue.
