I just got received the Lumie Starter 30 for Christmas.

I have used it everyday but so far I have slept through the light coming on. A few mornings I have woken up about five minutes after the light is fully on, but as I am hoping to use this as my main alarm clock I need to be certain I will awake on time. This morning my normal alarm woke me up, this is set six minutes after the Lumie is set.

Any thoughts / suggestions welcome.

What is the best position for the alarm clock? Currently it is resting on my bedhead, would it be better postion on the table to the side of the bed?

Bodyclock will work best when it's in a position for the light to reach your eyes (yes, even though they're closed!). It sounds like it might be above and/or behind you at the moment so a bedside table should be better.

Also, you don't need a separate alarm clock; there's an audible alarm with your Starter. Hold down the middle button to get into program mode then press until the little speaker symbol flashes on the left and use the +/- buttons to select ON.

Hopefully you won't need an audible after a couple of weeks!
