Replacement bulb has not helped. It still does the same. Just occasionally it works for a few hours, then it starts flashing instead of dimming again. I am intending to return it to the shop it...

Mine is doing this too. It is a new pesent and I can't use it because I have epilepsy and it flashes and flickers unless it is full brightness.
