Sorry this link is from a commercial site, but it is of a good (IMO) description of SAD.

interesting - spot on with symptoms - fancy a chocolate biscuit.

I didnt realise that the LED light, which Ive never heard about, is actually bluelight - now that Ive heard about. I will refer others to this link as they might not know either.

thanks PurpleIvy

have a lovely day.

I have a light from this range and I'm very happy with it, I also have the Bright Spark and was very happy with that. I thought it was a good description of SAD

Sorry, think I missed that bit! Do you find it more effective than the traditional light box?

I don't need to use it as long as my Lumie Bright Spark. I was absolutely happy with the bright spark, just too big to take away with me. Advantage of golite is more flexible in its controls, only use for about half an hour instead of 1 hour. I'm feeling much better than this stage last year, but that is probably due to other factors.

Really interesting clip Ivy thank you!! I did actually laugh out loud though when the presenter said "so you think this is a real disorder?"
Just made me chuckle a wee bit... :)

Well, it reflects real life I suppose, because not everyone regards it as real disorder!

I love the look on the Doctor's face when the host is describing SAD! It screams patronising s***...

I find the blue light easier to look at. Only problem is that it hasn't turned up in the hotel yet! Booo hoo!
