I find that the summer "me" finds it hard to remember the winter "me" and I go into October thinking it's all going to be OK this year...

So I'm leaving this thread as a reminder to the winter me who, in October, can't stop herself making the same mistakes each year!

My advice to myself (!) is don't over eat all the way through October as you normally do, you know it's comfort eating and you know you'll struggle to shift the weight and then you'll wish you hadn't done it. Try to keep up the walking, but keep off the crisps!

Anyone else got a message for themselves?

Remember - Don't make New Years resolutions! Always harder to keep during the winter, wait until the Spring and be kind to yourself.

Not to be overambitious in early Autumn and plan too many things to do in winter, to take it easy. To keep up the exercise and get out for a walk every day.

Hey Piglet,

You could always send yourself a reminder now to be delivered at the start of October.

I am not sure if I am allowed to post links here but I will try and apologise now in case I shouldnt have: http://futureme.org/
