Hi All,

Hope everyone is well.
I am having a bad day and have once again been lurking around wondering if I'm a SAD sufferer.

I suffer from some degree of anxiety almost every day but it definitely becomes more noticeable during the winter and at the mo I am starting to struggle. I can usually put on a brave face and battle through but I'm not sure if I'm doing more harm than good. I ended up off work and on AD's winter 06/07 but was never diagnosed with anything as such.

I just want to bury my head for the 8 hours I should be working and then stay home in the evenings / weekends and avoid everyone! Surely this is not normal behaviour?!?!

Sorry, I'm not really sure what I expect people to say, I'm rambling!
Just one of those days......

Not sure if you have SAD, but you cetainly describe symptoms I have each winter and I have an official diagnosis of SAD off my doctor. Read lots of the threads on here as soon as you have time - it really helps. Also look into getting a SAD lamp if you can, I find mine invaluable. Good luck with the coming winter.

Get a light box mate, don't worry about getting an "official" diagnosis as some doctors still don't really take SAD seriously.
