Hi everyone, i not been here in awhile to be honest i been coping real well with my SAD this year compared to last year... but all of a sudden in the last week my mood has come shooting down quicker than woolworths prices at the closing down sale, perhaps my mistake was not using my lightbox because i felt i didnt need it?

I was like that last week. I felt as though I was coping but last weekend just went down hill instantly. Ended up going to the docs blubbering and apologising for not getting my medication she gave me in September. I had just kept the presctiption in my purse like a safety blanket!! I have now started my meds and hope that I am gonna pick up soon.

Last week wasn't a very good week for me, but it is very dark for a lot of the time at the moment. I feel that my lamp is very important, no idea how I would be without it, don't want to find out!

Interesting... I've been coping quite well lately but felt like a struggle this last week for some reason. Starting to wonder if the huge full moon has an affect, after all that's where the term lunatic originated....

Ive been very tired all the time, but stress has not been too bad, sadly it seems as though my son may have the same illness as me. Does anyone else find it runs in the family?

Mind you, I don't have a car now due to big MOT failure so had to walk home from work last Monday in the dark (lonely walk too!) which wa snearly six miles and I power walked home and took me just under an hour and a half but if I over exert myself too much (got a kidney disease!) I get poorly and exhausted anyway for a few days so my immune system is low! Prob didn't help to be honest. Got more walking next week , arrrrrrr!!!!

Anti-depressants have stopped my panic attacks which is so cool but not my tiredness lol!!! Can't have it all!

BTW......if anyone has an old banger for sale close to Cambridge (UK) please let me know, cheers!

I went to to doc today and she gave me 7.5 imovan so hope this makes me sleep better as I don't sleep in the winter very well at all. The summer is great and I sleep very well. Winter is not so good.

I know what you mean. I do the same thing and then I come crashing down and then have to put the pedal to the metal and then I start feeling better. It just seems that this is something that we as SAD sufferers will always have to deal with unfortunately - you know, the highs and the lows on and off.
