What do others think about this issue?
How will this affect the Lumie bodyclocks?
I have a Lumie Elite and love it.
A friend of mine has the Philips Wake-up (the model with a low-energy compact fluorescent lamp) but I don't like the light of it. Plus it hums, which ia a problem of a lot of compact fluorescent lamps (if your sensitve for noise).
For now I will just buy some extra Lumie bulbs and switch most of my house to led.

We are gradually replacing the neodymium incandescent bulbs in our Bodyclock range with neodymium halogen bulbs to comply with the new regulations.

The neodymium in both gives them that lovely daylight feel so they will still look just as sunny!

Bodyclock Starter and Classic are currently fitted with 40W normal bulbs; Bodyclock Sunray, Advanced and Elite are fitted with 60W normal bulbs. ALL Bodyclocks will soon be fitted with 42W halogen bulbs (as bright as 60W normal bulbs).

Does that help? We will be sticking something on the relevant product pages when we start supplying Bodyclock with the new bulbs.

I have bought the refurbished clock which has the old style bulb only around 4 weeks ago, do I replace the bulb with a halogen one ie will you send that as opposed to the old style one?

Thank you for your reply. Will the halogen bulb be sold separatly through normal resell channels?
Then I can replace my bulb with a more energy efficient one.

How long are halogen bulbs supposed to last? I bought a refurbished Sunray last year (with halogen bulb) and the bulb has just gone :-(
