Hi , hope someone can help!

I've just bought one of these but don't seem to be able to set the time. The time is flashing when I plug it in, but I can't set it. When I hold the P button, it shows "SETA" on the screen. The A button is depressed and doesn't come out when I press it, it seems stuck in, it won't pop out at all. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that? Anyway the manual says I'm supposed to see "SETC" when I hold the button, but that doesn't happen. The sunshine and the beeper lights are lit on the display. Can someone help? Is there something really obvious that I'm missing??
thanks!!

Maybe the A button is stuck. See if you can wiggle it free, if not just phone Lumie for a replacement.
