I have borrowed a light box to see how I get on with it. Ihave been using it as soon as I get up in the morning but by around 2 I find Im more tired than usual and over the weekend went to sleep at 2 through till 6. Today Im using it now on the reasoning that mid day is when it should be brightest. I think that having that light in the morning then having a dark couple of hours my body thought it must be night time. Just wondering when other people find it works best?

I find my lamp works best almost as soon as I get up. If I use it much after 10am, the effect is minimal.

I had been suffering from debilitating tiredness , sensitivity to the cold and although I didnt realise for ages, waking 10 times in the night + dreaming what seemed like almost constantly + bad headaches - SADx Chronic Fatgue Syndrome???. I had tried EVERYTHING - execercie no exercise, acupuncture, Prozac - but I have to ay using the Lumie light for most of the time has changed my life back to how it was - I waken around 6.30 am now + can easily get up a 7am, some nights I stay up to 11PM - before I could hardly do a day's work + lie about all the time when I wasnt woring. BUT - for me it did take a number of hours each working day for over 3 months!!!!! but really I have a life again
