hey all! I'm trying to decide on a lightbox to get. (I'm thinking either this Sunbox brand model that was used in an NIH study - http://www.lighttherapyworld.com/SunRay_I_SAD_Light_p/sb-558.htm - or the Alaska Northern Lights brand's North Star model.)

Any input you can give about your brand & model of lightbox is much appreciated!

I have an apollo golite m2 (portable rechargeable) and Lumie brightspark. I keep the brightspark by the bed but I tend to use the Apollo wherever I am.

I use a Brightspark but would get something larger if I could afford it.

Until I dropped it hard (stability was its weak point, though it was robust enough to withstand many landings on the floor before the coup de grace last weekend), the old model bright spark. 9 years and still on the original tubes. Also the old model body-clock, about the same age and going strong.

Now psyching myself up to pay for the zip.
