I used my lamp after not having used it for a while, and this time put it next to my computer. I thought this a good idea since I had lots of computer work to do. But I lost track of time and probably was exposed to the light for a couple of hours. My eyes felt tired like I had strained them from reading too much.

Not connecting the light with the sore eyes, I used it again the next day. Also, I must add, that I had been wearing my reading glasses while using it. After the second day, my eyes were so sore, I had a headache and felt like I was getting ill. Also, the white part of my eyes have a bit of fluid in them.

Could this be from overdoing the lamp? Should I not be wearing my reading glasses? I am a bit worried and would appreciate input.

Thanks!

This reply may be a bit late but just in case I thought I would just endorse that the sore eyes, headaches and getting ill were the same symptoms as I had from using my Zip for the first time. Not sure about the fluid in the eyes but I would think thats a reaction too. My understanding is that sun glasses or glasses with UV protection would reduce the benefits of the light but plain reading glasses shouldn't affect things. It just shows how powerful the light is - almost like a medicine - an overdose can cause side effects. Hope you are over it all now and feeling the benefits again.
