I was thinking (generally a bad move!) but I really wish that SAD had a different name. I guess Seasonal Affective Disorder was used so the acronym SAD could be used, pointing towards the fact sufferers are not happy!

I think more specifically, SAD puts into non-sufferers minds that we just feel a little down during the winter - and as we all know there are a range of symptoms that we individually suffer to varying degrees. I actually think that the next time someone says to me 'well we all feel a little less cheerful in winter' I may just punch them!

So, if you could rename it - what would you call it. I guess by posing the questions I should come up with my idea....

...but I cant think of anything! sorry!

I totally agree with what you have said Dyls! Yes I feel the same when others who just have the winter blues (which is most people it would appear!) but not SAD, say they all know what it's like.

Sorry but I can't think of another name at the mo either lol!
