After having a good couple of years I've been feeling a bit anxious over the last week or so, so I thought it's time to start 'taking precautions' if you know what I mean. Got the Omega 3,6,9 in the cabinet and picking up some 5HTP tomorrow. Went to put on the lumie desk lamp at work today and it's broken!!! :o( Sent me in to a bit of a panic attack but I've calmed down now as the mainenance man has promised to take a look at it tomorrow for me. I'm hoping it's just a blown fuse and he can fix it. :o(

Reading through the posts though, I'm glad it's not just me who's a bit early this year. Usually it's the end of September for me but it seems to be early this year....

Please get your maintenance man to check to make sure that the bulb is correctly sited in the lamp socket, (make sure unplugged from the mains)or as you suggest try the fuse in the plug, give our careline team a call, if no joy with either, we will help sort the problem for you.

Hi Summer,
No, it's not just you who's early. Like you, late September is usually when my mood begins to dip, and then things go downhill from there, but I'm already beginning to struggle, which doesn't bode well for the coming months. I'm not sure where you are located, but where I am we haven't really had much of a summer, so perhaps that's the reason. Hope you get your lamp fixed.

Anyone else around....?

I'm around, not doing too badly, I make a point of sitting in our sitting area, which has massive windows. I've got a long weekend in southern Spain next weekend, so hoping that will put me on.

When I'm working at home, I try and have my big SAD lamp on, as my work room is a bit dim sometimes. Not much natural light.
