Hi all,

Looking for some help coz I'm struggling a bit at the moment. I finally accepted that I can't do it without the meds last winter and started taking Citalopram. Came off them in April and started them again about 4 weeks ago. Since then I've had major insomnia - falling asleep is OK but I'm waking up regularly through the night and its taking ages to fall asleep again. I'm not having night panics, or overactive brain, which I used to get when autumn started setting in, I just keep waking up. As a result I feel wiped out during the day. The Cit. seems to suit me otherwise, sickness and headaches wore off after a couple of weeks.. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice welcome. Thanks

My sleep is often erratic, esp when I first start taking the Citalopram, but generally in the winter I can't sleep enough. I suspect that it's the digestive probs that wake me up, but I don't know.

Sleep, or lack of it is my worst symptom, I have tried different anti depressants and I am on Mirtazapine at the moment, can anyone recommend ant anti depressant that aids sleep?
