I don't know of the actual brand you mention, but the advice generally is to sit within around 18" of the lamp for about 30 minutes, usually as early as possible in the day. Some people (me included) use them for much longer, some don't need so much time. Sometimes it can be helpful to have a shorter, additional session later in the day. If it gives you any adverse effects to begin with, just try 15 minutes and build up from there. Experiment with it to see what gives you the best results. Hope you get on okay with it - I find my light box indispensable.
Hmm, there used to be an online questionnaire somewhere that you completed according to your circumstances and it told you what you might consider doing with your lamp. Will see if I can track it down.
None of these things takes the place of help from Health professionals , but are useful tools all the same,

Did you get an instruction booklet with it? There are some tips in there about when to use it and how far away etc. or we can talk you through it if you give us a ring. Don't forget, if you bought if from Lumie there's a 30-day trial too so definitely call if you aren't feeling much different after a couple of weeks.
