I don't know about anyone else here, but I have turned into a human blob. I believe I've gained 10 lbs. in the past 2 weeks. Can't seem to stop eating, and when I'm not eating, I'm sleeping. Here in the midwest U.S., the snow is keeping me from much in the way of outdoor activity, and I can't afford and don't have room for any indoor exercise equipment! Probably wouldn't use it if I could, because all I want to do is sleep. Thanks for indulging my rant!

Hi there
Don't know what to say realy,"you're not alone".
I dare not even stand on the scales, I know I'v put on a lot of weight.
Chocolate craving is the worst problem, mixed with lack of motivation, this lady is also a BLOB.
I know from previos experience that I can lose weight spring/summer.
I just hate the Yo-Yoing. I keep clothes in 3 sizes.
Spring is near,
Keep your chin
Hugs

:) Hi There!
I'm so glad that you have posted this! It has only been realised that I have SAD this year and I thought I was going mad! I've been trying to lose weight so much lately and kept getting really upset because I just cant stop eating, especially high carb and sugar things like potato, bread and sweets. I've been feeling really BLOBBY and nobody around me really understands. My mum keeps saying that if I really want to lose the weight I can do it and I know that she is trying to be motivational but it's just making me feel worse!

I didn't mean to rant like that it is just so nice to know that someone else is feeling like me!
Thank you :)

Hi,

I know how you peeps feel. I'm nearly a stone heavier than I was at the begining of the winter. I look in the mirror and it reminds me of when one of my Chinese coleagues told me I had a fat belly. He was trying to compliment my by infering I was a sucessfull manager. What he didnt know was how much it upset me, as I felt I could not overcome the BLOB.

Its really hard thinking good thoughts about yourself when you are feeling SAD, but you are precious and one of a kind. And that makes you special :-)

Just hang in there as the miracle cure, Spring, is just around the corner.

Cheers,

Karl

Thank you for your responses. It's always nice to know you're not alone. I, too, keep 3 sizes of clothes in my closet. By August, I'll probably be down 10 lbs.; then by December I'll be up 5 lbs. and then by Feb. another 5. Just keep gaining and losing the same 10 lbs. By the way, how much is a stone? I think the British are so neat. Love to watch the British comedy on PBS. (It's one of the few things that picks me up)! It's snowing (AGAIN!); we're supposed to get another 6 inches on top of the 10 inches we got last weekend. I just want it to be spring so bad!

Hi. I too put on at least a stone every winter and need bread every hour on the hour. Every jan/feb I wonder how I am ever going to be able to bare all in a bikini in the summer on holiday but by May the extra weight has just vanished without really having to try. Its very wierd!!!
I suppose at least we can be grateful its this way round as we have to cover up because of the cold, just imagine if SAD made us lose our appetites and then in the summer we made up for it!!!

not long now!!!!!!!!!!! 8)
