All light therapy products are sent by courier on a standard service (delivery within three working days). We'll email to let you know when it's on the way and include tracking information. Small items like bulbs are sent using Royal Mail First Class post.
If we receive your order during office hours it will usually be dispatched the same day,maybe the next working day if we're busy, so please allow four working days for your order to arrive.

Choose Express Delivery when you checkout and pay £6 for courier delivery the next working day.
If we receive your order during office hours it will leave the same day and be with you the next working day; please don't leave it until late in the day to order as our couriers usually collect around 4pm. If you really do need it quickly and want to be sure, it's best to give us a ring.
These delivery times apply to the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. Deliveries to some areas such as the islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man and Channel Islands may take a little longer.
Disclaimer: Once your parcel has been collected from our warehouse the courier - not Lumie - is responsible for getting it to you within the stated time. Please be aware that during busy periods, like Christmas, they may not always be able to deliver when they say they will!

Returns and our 30-day Home Trial
Our 30-day Home Trial gives you the chance to try Arabica for yourself and make sure that it's right for you. This is one of the big advantages of buying direct from Lumie.
- 30-day Home Trial is available in the UK only.
- If at any time up to 30 days from the date of delivery you decide to return something, please contact us first.
- If a unit is returned scratched or damaged we will tell you what the problem is and may have to charge for any repair at a cost of £20/hour plus materials. We will not charge for minor problems.
- The unit should be returned in its original packing if possible.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
Most people notice an improvement in their symptoms after just a few days, so please give us a call if you feel that Arabica isn't having an effect and we'll try to help.If you decide to return your light, we will arrange to have it collected (mainland only). As soon as we receive it we will refund all your money.We do not refund express delivery charges.
Cancellation
By law, you also have a 'cooling-off' period, the right to cancel any purchase and receive a full refund by e-mailing or writing to us up to seven working days the day after you receive it. To return any item, please send it securely - the original packaging is best if you have it - to our usual address. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

This is a great product! I felt that I might have Winter Blues as I had been feeling so disjointed from life for some time. Within 2 uses of the Arabica, I was sleeping all night and feeling so much better generally. I now don't fall asleep early evening in front of the TV, I wake at about 6-7am refreshed, instead of at 10am,then needing to lie on the bed until 11.30am waiting for my body to wake up. I feel alive again. I now use my light box 1/2 hr each day in the mornings whilst on the computer - if it's a sunny day I don't use it, as I found I couldn't sleep the following night if I did, so I feel I don't need it when the sun is out. I like the Arabica as it just sits by the computer and others in the room get some benefit as well. I do have it slightly further away than recommended as I did get eye ache at first, so I stopped using it for a couple of days to rest,and moved it to just under 3 ft away from me and that is perfect, no more eye ache and I still get enough light from it. In the booklet that comes with it, there is a symptom chart so you can record your progress. After one week of light box usage, my symptoms had gone down from a score of 44 to 11, after 3 weeks I now score 2 points! No more craving chocolate of an evening either(I was surprised to see that was a symptom of Winter Blues /SAD!) Reading that was the deciding factor of trying out the light box, plus the 30 day trail offered, I felt I had nothing to loose, and the free trial verified Lumie's belief in their own product.It is the best thing I ever did! I've been using this light for 4 weeks now. I find that I benefit more when I use it for an hour each day. Usually I use it for half an hour at breakfast-time and then if possible another half hour after lunch. It helps my concentration and I can go out in the evenings more easily without wanting to go to bed and hibernate.

wow!I've been using this light for 8 weeks. Almost immediately I felt a change. I work full time & have 2 very small grandchildren. Life was so difficult. I felt as if I was struggling to even exist. I am an upbeat person but in winter become lethargic and anti social. This is the best £100 I have ever spent. Doctors should be more on board with SAD. I have previously been subscribed (unsuccessfully) anti depressants. A brilliant product!

I love this light, just enough to have a huge effect but not bright enough to be blinding. I tend to forget it's on and just bounce onwards with it on for hours. It's really easy to move given the handle and it's surprisingly light and robust.

I work from home and this lamp is ideal - I have it on my desk and have it on as I work. I've suffered from the winter blues for many years and bought this lamp in January. Really noticed a difference in my energy levels, even on the bleakest winter days.

this is a replacement for my old lamp and is great. slightly bigger so easier to be near - i find the little ones give a small area of very bright light that can be uncomfy. Yet, its small enough to be easily used anywhere in my home. When I get up in the morning I feel 'thirsty' for sunlight, so an hour of e-mail & paperwork after breakfast while basking in front of my Arabica - Ahhhhh thats better!

I am really pleased with my Arabica Lightbox, it is so much smaller and lighter than my previous lightbox. I can move it from room to room easily and it looks good too.

Light therapy was recommended to me by a friend who has used it with excellent results for long term HDU patients. Having tried a wide range of antidepressants over the years I was very sceptical that something this simple would have any effect, so was pleased to see that it came with a money back guarantee. I use it for a minimum of half an hour every morning whilst I watch the breakfast news and have my coffee. I am pleased to report that I am no longer the unmotivated, tired, miserable person who avoided doing pretty much everything. Almost everyone has commented on my improved mood, and I have no problem recommending light therapy to anyone and everyone who asks! Yes it is a bit of a financial investment, but yes it really is worth every penny. I refer to this as my SAD lamp, my boyfriend calls it my happy lamp... enough said!

I bought the Arabica light for myself last year after reading a lots of good reviews about this product.I suffered from the symptons of SAD more many years finding my energy levels and general well being were quite low in the winter months. After using the lamp for only a few days in the mornings and in the evenings I felt so much better. My energy levels went up, I've become myself again. My general well being as of my families has improved as a result of using this. I can't recommend the Arabica enough. Its absolutely brilliant! I can't imagine my long winter evenings now without it.

Sceptical at first about the benefits of using the ARABICA light but after using it for nearly 12 months the pattern of my sleeping has changed for the better. Using the light for an hour in the morning (whilst eating breakfast and getting ready to go to work) virtually re-sets my once haphazard sleeping habits (restless night and waking up in the middle night, and waking earlier than I should). My elderly parents have a Lumie Arabica that has helped in the darker autumn and winter days to lift their spirits and moods. As a common-sense Yorkshire people they thought that the benefits of "bright light" was rubbish but, now, they are converts. However, as pensioners with hand-mobility becoming a problem they would like to know if the manufacture would consider replacing the "push" on/off button with the "flick" on/off switch as this would easier to operate ergonomically.

Due to the fact I have to work at home a lot I started to have days where I felt really down as I was stuck in the same place and getting very little day through winter months.
This light certainly changed this, I felt I had more energy and generally felt in better moods. Recomended to anyone

Having used my wake up light for about 10years, I was recommending that my friend invest in a SAD lumie lamp, she was so pleased with it that she wanted to show me. Within 10 minutes I already felt better even though I thought I was ok before! so i've taken my own advice and got myself a sad lamp too! Fantastic!

My partner and I bought the Arabica about 6 weeks ago and started using it daily as the long days ended. We both suffer from SAD. For me, it's generally been tough as I have a 2+ hour commute to and from work. For most of the year, I leave and get home in the dark and getting on the 5:09 train to London has been so draining. We both felt a bit better after less than a week using it.
I use it for 1/2 hour every morning before getting on my first long train ride, and it no longer seems so onerous and gloomy.
It's also well built, really nice looking, easily moved about, and contrary to other reviews, we've not heard any buzzing or noise.
I would recommend this product to anyone with SAD.

Even though I bought this mid-winter last year, it definitely helped my mood and energy levels. I look forward to this winter having begun using it already. A bonus - it's a great light for reading and doing intricate craft work in our dark cottage. Highly recommended.

Wonderful portable product. Winter is now not only bearable but actually enjoyable! I use it for an hour when I come in from work... Hiughly recommended if you want your winter mood to be improved and lightened :)

This is a great product with a good price. I have it on my bedside table and use it for 20 minutes before I get out of bed. It gives you that energy that you have in the spring months.

It works! I ignored the 'don't use in the evening/near bedtime' advice and was up for hours full of energy! It also works quickly - a few days and I noticed the difference in my mood. Expensive but definitely worth spending the money for such a life change.

Great product: after using it for 20 min my mood already significantly changes. I always use it when I'm eating breakfast, the perfect way to get the tired feeling go away and start the day with a good energy.

I bought one of these about a month ago - it's very simple to use, nothing fussy about it, which I like.
The light is enjoyable to sit in front of- once i got used to it, and incorporating its use into my daily routine has been relatively straightforward.
A good product at a good price!
