If it's going to an address in mainland UK or Northern Ireland then we'll take care of the delivery costs.

All light therapy products are sent by courier on a standard service (delivery within three working days). We'll email to let you know when it's on the way and include tracking information. Small items like bulbs are sent using Royal Mail First Class post.

If we receive your order during office hours it will usually be dispatched the same day,maybe the next working day if we're busy, so please allow four working days for your order to arrive.

Returns and our 30-day Home Trial

Our 30-day Home Trial  gives you the chance to try Bodyclock ELITE for yourself and make sure that it's right for you. This is one of the big advantages of buying direct from Lumie.

• 30-day Home Trial is available in the UK only.
• If at any time up to 30 days from the date of delivery you decide to return something, please contact us first.
• If a unit is returned scratched or damaged we will tell you what the problem is and may have to charge for any repair at a cost of £20/hour plus materials. We will not charge for minor problems.
• The unit should be returned in its original packing if possible.
• This does not affect your statutory rights.

Most people notice an improvement in their symptoms after just a few days, so please give us a call if you feel that Bodyclock ELITE isn't having an effect and we'll try to help. It is your responsibility to pay for and return it - we recommend Recorded Delivery to be on the safe side. As soon as we receive it we will refund your money less a £10 re-stocking fee. We do not refund express delivery charges.

Cancellation

By law, you also have a 'cooling-off' period, the right to cancel any purchase and receive a full refund by e-mailing or writing to us up to seven working days the day after you receive it. To return any item, please send it securely - the original packaging is best if you have it - to our usual address. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

I got this a few years ago when I was having trouble sleeping at night - and I have always struggled in the mornings! The sleep settings were brilliant in helping me to relax and fall asleep naturally and it was actually a pleasure to wake up to the sound of bird song and a sunrise! Also like being able to then switch straight to my favourite radio station to really wake me up. Would highly recommend.

Bought the Elite 2 years ago for my wife and she loves it. The sunset and sunrise light is excellent to gently fall asleep and wake up to, all through the year. My wife now wakes up to the gentle sunrise light just a few minutes before the radio comes on. The meditation soundtracks are fun too, and are really nice to nod off to after a hectic day. The option of having your favourite mp3 music on an SD card to wake up to is also great. The only reason why we did not give a 5 star rating is the LED backlight is too bright to leave on through the night, but when it is switched off, you cannot read the time if you wake up in the dark. Also, as others have mentioned, keep the instruction book handy as it is not at all intuitive to operate. Any change of the settings require a read through other wise you can get it very wrong trying to do it yourself. I would also say that for the size of speakers, they ought to be better quality. If they weren't so tinny you could play your i.pod music through the aux input. Despite these niggles, my wife and I would still recommend this product though.

The idea is brilliant, and it's wonderful to wake up gently to the light from the clock. I wouldn't be without a sunrise clock now - there's nothing worse than being woken up by a buzzer in pitch black in the middle of winter! It's useful that you can set a different time alarm for each day of the week. However, there are a couple of serious flaws: - Firstly, the digital display backlight is far too bright. The backlight does dim when you turn the alarm on, but otherwise it's too bright. You can manually turn it off by pressing the Plus and Minus buttons simultaneously, but this then triggers the sleep soundtrack - which you don't always want. - The controls are the least intuitive of any clock radio I've ever used. I'm pretty handy with gadgets, but there's no way I can operate this clock without referring back to the manual every time. Lumie need to work much harder at making this product easier to use. - The sleep soundtrack is supposed to fade out gradually. We have it set to the "rain" sound, but unfortunately the sound fades out gradually, gradually, gradually then all of sudden BLASTS BACK TO FULL VOLUME AGAIN... It's infuriating. Despite the flaws, I wouldn't be without Bodyclock. It's just the nicest way to wake up. Another obvious suggestion for improving the product: incorporate an iPod/iPhone dock, or perhaps even Apple Airplay. You'd need to improve the speakers substantially, however. They're fine for speech, but not very nice to use for listening to music. Muffled and tinny.

I bought this for my son as he had trouble getting to sleep and then waking up. He would rather have been up at night and sleep during the day. Within 1 week it made an amazing difference.Its wirked that well I may just buy one for me.It was easy to set up and the instructions were nice and clear.

I bought this last year because alarm clocks scare me when they go off. I thought waking up to light would be a gentler, less disruptive way to wake up. I was very right, but not only was I able to wake up more easily, I have also noticed that waking up this way makes me feel less drowsy in the morning as the light wakes me up gradually and by the time I'm up, I'm fully awake. And just in case, the MP3 player is a perfect back up alarm as well as the nature sounds. It's also nice to use the sunset feature to fall asleep naturally. Aside from the product being great, Lumie's customer service is superb. My lamp cover had a small crack and when I called them, they sent me a brand new one, no questions asked. I'll shop here again.

The dawn simulation is a great way to wake up, and Lumie does that very well. Other aspects, however, are less well thought out. When the alarm has not been set, the backlight is so bright that it impedes the onset of my sleep - there's no way to adjust its brightness. Also, the default volume level (4) cannot be changed, so when it defaults to this level the audio alarm is too quiet. One gets the impression they didn't run any usability tests before launching the product.

This has absolutely changed my life, used to have terrible problems oversleeping in winter to the point where I was worried about losing my job; however last winter was a doddle. I have also noticed that my quality of sleep is much better now, due to the meditation functions on here which you can go to sleep to - utter bliss, strongly recommend. Lumie are also a fantastic company to deal with if you have any questions or need replacement parts such as bulbs.

Following on from my previous review I have tried to get on with this but have given up. I don't need an alarm everyday and find that when the alarm is not set then the backlight is far too bright. It is so bright that it lights up the whole room. It seems that when the alarm isn't set then the brightness level cannot be changed. I notice that one reviewer covers up the display to block out the light but I have now stopped using this alarm because of this annoying flaw. I also feel that the build quality is cheap and flimsy considering the premium price.

I've had mine in daily use for at least 3 years. I still have to use the instruction book for settings so don't lose it. You can darken the clock face completely if you need a totally dark room, and the wake up and sleep sound options are lovely. I wouldn't be without it. Definitely helps waking up early during the dark mornings and drifting off at night. Yes it is pricey. Yes the speakers are a little tinny but it is an excellent product.

This is one of those things that I hesitated initially to buy as it is quite expensive. But since then, every single morning and evening I think it is worth every single penny. Falling asleep to the relaxing sound of waves and the song of birds in the cold and dark winter mornings is all I could have dreamt of.

I really love my light and would no now be without it. I've found that if I wake in the night Ican put the light on and it's dimming sends me straight back off. I would have rated 5 - but for the cock-a-doodle-doo - that is just not dawn chorus; please remove it!

Since buying I have never had that horrible rude awakening that is usually associated with alarms instead when the birds start chirping to wake me I wake up refreshed & never feel the need to hit the snooze button. A more concise review would be to say its fab.

I have had the product for 4 years and miss it when I am not at home. I am almost always awake just by the increasing light. I can sleep through the light and the birdsong if I am extremely tired (jetlag) so I set the volume higher on those days.

I use this clock not only throughout the winter but during the summer as well as the meditative sleep programme is so relaxing. The radio clock also means its perfect for an alarm clock. Even my sceptical boyfriend was won over by this Lumie clock, and that is saying something!

Really effective way to wake up on a dark winter morning. The gradual build up of light works really well and getting up is nowhere near as hard as it used to be. Good purchase 2 years ago and very pleased with the Elite

This product is fantastic, my partner used to wake up grumpy and unhappy but the gentle light increase and tweeting birds allow her a natural wakeup. The only downside is that the LCD failed after 3 years ...

We received the Elite model as a wedding present and have been waking up with it for the last two years. The sunrise setting really helps in waking up, especially on dark mornings. Haven't used the relaxation sounds, but usually wake up with the radio which we find works well. Had to change the bulb for the first time after two years, which Lumie shipped very promptly. Overall, an excellent product!

I have used the lumie alarm clocks for at least 10 years if not more. The light is gradual and works really well. I have tried other daylight alarms and they are not a patch on the Lumie for a natural sunrise/sunset. My first is now in the guest room and I have this model in the main bedroom. I cannot imagine waking up any other way. It's a natural and leaves you feeling fresh and ready for the day, I now only need the light to wake me up. I do not use the radio, that is not a great quality, for this reason, I have only given a 4.

This product has literally changed my life... I suffer from severe depression as well as being kept awake late at night when ideas are flowing by living life with aspergers.. with this light i am assured to wake when i want and get my sleep pattern back on track with minimum hassle.. at first i was skeptical as even the loudest of alarm clocks would not rouse me out of bed as i was still left feeling exhausted, however this light seems to turn on some sort of magical green light signal to my body and i feel fresh and ready for the day.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I wake up to this every morning, so nice to wake up gently, perfect for winter when it's so dark in the morning! Great for getting to sleep too, the relaxation/meditation settings is great. Couldn't live without it now!

I love this Bodyclock, wouldn't want to change it for any other alarm clock. The bright backlight can be switched off by pressing a button, so it's not really a problem.

As someone who has always had problems waking up and sleeping, I've tried *everything* all the natural remedies only ever lasted a few days then my body clock went back to chaos! Even sleeping tablets only worked for three nights in a row. Last year, as a last option I bought the Bodyclock ELITE 300! The first morning I was woken by the sunshine - odd it's the middle of bleak winter!! and the birds were singing! It's an ongoing pleasant way to wake up :-) Every night I hit the switch and relax to the gentle sounds of the sea, the sun sinks and I'm asleep. I sometimes use the meditation to relax during a stressful day, and the radio is a bonus! This is the best investment I've made if you don't count my husband. Thank you Lumie :-)

I've used this product every day for 2 years, and all I can say is it is excellent. I used to have real issues waking up in the morning, and getting to sleep, but the combination of the sunset/sunrise simulation has sorted all my problems out and I no longer suffer from SAD! Buy one

Working shift work I have found it incredibly beneficial, particularly in the winter months. Amazed I actually wake with no sounds set, literally just the light wakes me! Great product!

I like this as it does help me wake up. I think it could be less bulky as it has a big footprint and I'm not a massive fan of the design (but I am a designer so a bit of a design snob!). In an ideal world it would be a digital radio but not too much of an issue. I agree with the other review about the backlight - it is very bright but is only on when the alarm isn't set - I cover it up with a book when I don't need to set the alarm. Overall I like it and compares well to other brands I think!

I have had this clock for nearly a year. I have found it a much more relaxing & natural way to wake. the sunset meditations are not very relaxing but the sunset light makes it much easier for me to drop off. I can't imagine waking any other way now.

Again I have not had a problem with the backlight, just needs to be put on the correct setting. I have the clock over 6 months and use it daily for sunset and sunrise. I work very funny shifts all the time so this clock really does help. Would recommend it. Only down side is I cannot seem to turn the alarm down when it is on the radio setting, I don't need a very loud noise to wake me up but saying that it normally wakes me up before the alarm even goes off.

The backlit display doesn't really disturb my sleep. Also iPod integration would be a huge plus. Overall the sleep programme is excellent as is the gradual alarm programme. Big fan.

Unlike the previous reviewer, I do not have a problem with the brightness of the display, providing it is set to auto-dim. Overall the light is very useful but I would like proper iPod integration, however, that said, I would not be without the light.

I hate this clock! I have tried to get on with it but it has the most annoying bright backlight. It is so bright that it casts shadows in the room and I can read a book by the light that it gives off. For a clock that is supposed to be promoting good sleep this is a major flaw. I also feel that for such a premium price the build quality is cheap.
