All light therapy products are sent by courier on a standard service (delivery within three working days). We'll email to let you know when it's on the way and include tracking information. Small items like bulbs are sent using Royal Mail First Class post.
If we receive your order during office hours it will usually be dispatched the same day,maybe the next working day if we're busy, so please allow four working days for your order to arrive.

These delivery times apply to the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. Deliveries to some areas such as the islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man and Channel Islands may take a little longer.
Disclaimer: Once your parcel has been collected from our warehouse the courier - not Lumie - is responsible for getting it to you within the stated time. Please be aware that during busy periods, like Christmas, they may not always be able to deliver when they say they will!

Returns and our 30-day Home Trial
Our 30-day Home Trial gives you the chance to try Bodyclock ACTIVE for yourself and make sure that it's right for you. This is one of the big advantages of buying direct from Lumie.
- 30-day Home Trial is available in the UK only.
- If at any time up to 30 days from the date of delivery you decide to return something, please contact us first.
- If a unit is returned scratched or damaged we will tell you what the problem is and may have to charge for any repair at a cost of £20/hour plus materials. We will not charge for minor problems.
- The unit should be returned in its original packing if possible.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
Most people notice an improvement in their symptoms after just a few days, so please give us a call if you feel that Bodyclock ACTIVE isn't having an effect and we'll try to help. It is your responsibility to pay for and return it - we recommend Recorded Delivery to be on the safe side. As soon as we receive it we will refund your money less a £10 re-stocking fee. We do not refund express delivery charges.
Cancellation
By law, you also have a 'cooling-off' period, the right to cancel any purchase and receive a full refund by e-mailing or writing to us up to seven working days the day after you receive it. To return any item, please send it securely - the original packaging is best if you have it - to our usual address. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

It took me 2 weeks to feel the benefits of this product. At the beginning I was far from being impressed, as I noticed none of the positive consequences described in the reviews. I have now had it for about 1 month. Even if I am tired, I wake up before the alarm goes off thanks to the light, and it makes waking up much easier and smoother.
The diming light is very nice to go to sleep, and the radio works well.
The only criticism I have is that there are not enough alarm ringtones; the choice is very limited. Apart from that, I am really glad I bought this product, which was not an easy decision because of the high price.

We have now been using our Lumie Active 250 since the end of September 2011. Previous reviewers had said that the instructions were complex. Perhaps this is because there are so many different options to choose from. After a good deal of re-reading we are now very confident with it. We don't yet wake every morning before the radio kicks in, but even then it's much nicer to open your eyes to a nice light bedroom.
The loveliest thing about this particular Lumie is being able to fall to sleep listening to 'Waves' which gradually fade away. Every night it is sheer bliss.
The one irritating thing we have noticed is that if you are altering settings such as length or sunrise/sunset etc. the real time clock does not keep going and unless you check this when you've finished choosing your settings you could well find that you won't be woken at the right time! We narrowly averted disaster on a couple of our first experiments with the clock.
That aside, so pleased we made the purchase.

Fabulous product. I feel much more energetic when I get up for work now. I tend to find that I wake up gradually as the sunrise effect gets brighter and before the alarm goes off which is so much better for me than waking up abruptly to a really shrill alarm clock. I also like going to sleep with the radio which gradually gets quieter and the sunset effect which gets dimmer over time.

Makes it much easier to get up in the mornings, and as I am a heavy sleeper, being able to have to radio or other sounds wake me too is a benefit. I also particularly like the fact that it can simulate dusk too, which puts you in the right frame of mind for bed, and doesn't seem to be a feature with other brands.

I love my Bodyclock Active! It really has revolutionised my morning routine. Instead of an awful jolt into reality, I wake up gently and really refreshed. Brilliant!

This is a great product, getting up in the mornings when it's pitch black isn't always easy, but thanks to this Lumie Bodyclock it's a much more natural and gradual process. This leaves me feeling more refreshed.

It really works! I wasn't sure that this would work when I bought this for my wife. She works shifts and has to get up very early (4:30am. I'm pleased to report that I'm wrong. The light is very effective and the light pattern on the wall is a very attractive feature. My wife feels ready to get up every morning and I don't have to coerce her out of bed!! Hurrah! Easy to use and helps by waking up gradually with the sunrise setting and especially with the added advantage of fm radio makes the day start less abruptly

This is a great product that wotks well for me. I feel much more awake in the mornings and less grumpy when the alarm sounds. I am sure I will appreciate it even more now that the clocks have gone back!

I always really hate waking up in the dark, and those days where it's raining and so gloomy outside. With Lumie I can pretend that it's sunny and that really improves my mood. I'm a university student and find it difficult to work when I don't have enough light, now I can focus on my work whenever I need to and never get too behind.

This is my second Lumie as I upgraded. I LOVE Lumie it helps me to get up and feel good about getting up!!! I feel so much better in the mornings since Lumie came into my life. I had a few months inbetween my old and my new Lumie and was shocked by the difference I feel again, I was so excited about it being delivered. The best part of a Lumie though for me is going to sleep! I read every night and the wonderful sunset just sends me off to sleep wonderfully! Very very happy! Jen

I bought a lumie clock as I just hated being jolted awake by a loud noise and spending the first few seconds of everyday in a mild starter of panic! I was a bit cynical, but the lumie had made life soooo much easier. I use the 15 minute sunrise as I'm a very light sleeper, and I'm always awake 2 minutes before my alarm time, and feeling like I've woken up naturally. The only reason I haven't rated this a 5 is because it does require a full instruction booklet read to operate, and I haven't worked out how to turn off the clock display light without stuffing the alarm (but I'm sure there is a way), and I wish it were a little bit prettier! Overall this has definitely improved my mood in the morning and I have been running around telling all my friends and family to buy one! Oh, and you can use it as a bedside lamp.

Very effective at bringing you gently out of a deep sleep- I generally wake up a few minutes before the alarm is due to go off (although with a longer sunrise, I was waking up too early) Product is easy to program.

This product has made waking up on dark mornings so much easier. I am invariably awake just before the audible alarm sounds and it is much better to wake gently rather than with a start. I shall be buying one for my son for Christmas!

Fantastic light it has made a real difference waking up on dark autumn mornings. I have found the sunset also very helpful in relaxing before going to sleep. Would recommend to those who have trouble rising you wont be disappointed.

I really like my Lumie Active 250! Makes waking up lovely and gentle and the bright light helps you to wake up properly instead of falling back into pointless bites of snooze-button sleep that just emliminate my morning! I love the gentle sounds to wake up and fall asleep to, particularly the waves. The one thing that is slightly disappointing is the birdsong sound - whilst the background birdsong is lovely and natural, the loudest main bird sounds very electronic/robotic, and sings the same 2 tweet patterns over and over, which is irritating. If it could be made more natural I'd be very happy indeed! Otherwise I am thrilled with the product, and think the sleep options and fading volume as you drift off to sleep are fantastic extras to what is already a great wake up alarm clock! Looking forward to a far less SAD syndromey winter this year with my Lumie!! :0)

I love Lumie! I've always had problems getting to work on time - I press the snooze button on my alarm clock and go back to sleep. That doesn't happen with my Lumie Active. I wake up slowly and actually stay awake.

Never had a wake up light previously but decided I would give 1 a go as I was terrible at waking up in the mornings and they'd been recommended to me by a friend! I can honestly say I've been thrilled to bits with my Lumie Active 250. With the sunset and sunrise features it's really helped to regulate my sleep pattern and I can honestly say I wake up feeling far more refreshed and awake that I've ever done before. Highly recommend it! Lumie customer service was excellent too!

I love Lumie!I had the bodyclock classic but after about 3 years it stopped working. So I decided to upgrade to the Active 250. I love the extra features, and even though it started as a joke to freak out my boyfriend, I still wake up to "birdsong" everyday. I have to get up at 5am for work and have found the use of the Lumie bodyclock makes this so much easier. I would definitely recommend this clock to other SAD sufferers.
