Congratulations to GB Rowing Team!

Congratulations to the GB Rowing Team who'll be coming home from the 2014 European Championships in Belgrade with a bucketload of medals.

Helen Glover and Polly Swann (below) took gold in the Women's Pair in a great race that beat their own European record by a whopping six seconds and added to their World title. Glover said  "I think we got off to a normal start for us but the others probably went out harder than normal and paid a bit for it later".

The Men's Four - Alex Triggs-Hodge, George Nash, Mohamed Sbihi and Alex Gregory - also beat their Euro record and won their race having led from the start.

Silvers went to the Men's Quadruple Scull, lightweight Men's Four and lightweight Men's Pair; despite several medal-winning members of the team being unavailable, the Men's Eight put in a strong performance winning bronze behind Olympic champions Germany. The Women's Eight won silver and lightweight Women's Double Skull picked up bronze which left Britain at the top of the medals table.

Lumie is an associate of GB Rowing Team and British Rowing and the athletes use Bodyclock to wake up feeling ready for action. Or, as Double Skull Victoria Thornley puts it, "Being in a better mood sets me up for a great first session... Since using the Lumie light I can now hold a normal conversation with my housemates in the morning instead of just grunting!”.
