Poor employee mental health may not be a new workplace issue, but it is more pressing now than ever before. The rate of self-reported work-related stress, depression, or anxiety had shown signs of increasing prior to the coronavirus pandemic, scoring higher still in 2020/21. While all aspects of poor mental health hugely affect the suffering individuals and people close to them, it also can have a negative impact on organizations.
