What is the 45-day trial and how does it work?
We know light therapy is new for many people - that’s why we offer a 45-day trial on all our lights when you buy directly from Lumie. Try it at home, and if it’s not quite right for you, simply return it within 45 days for a refund.
When does the 45-day trial start?
The 45-day trials starts from the day that you receive your light.
Do I need to pay anything upfront?
Yes, you’ll pay for the product and delivery at checkout. If you decide to return it within the trial period, we’ll refund the product cost - delivery charges are non-refundable.
What do I need to keep for a return?
Please hold onto all original packaging — this includes the outer box, gift box and internal packing. We need everything back in good condition to process your return smoothly.
How do I return my Lumie light during the trial?
Just email our Customer Care Team at info@lumie.com to log your return. We’ll get back to you within 2 working days with instructions and, if eligible, a prepaid return label.
Is the trial available on all products?
The 45-day trial only applies to wake-up lights, bright light therapy lamps and children's lights, and is not applicable to bulbs and spares.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
In many cases, we’ll provide a free returns label. However, if you’re returning from outside our service region or if your purchase was made more than 6 months ago, you’ll need to cover return shipping.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive and process your return, you will receive your refund within 5–10 working days (via the same payment method you used to purchase).
What if my product is faulty?
If something’s not working right, email us at info@lumie.com. We’ll assess the issue and, if it’s covered under warranty, we’ll repair or replace it - usually within 5–10 working days after we receive it.
Can I cancel or change my order before it ships?
We start to process orders quickly so changes aren’t always possible. Email us at info@lumie.com as soon as possible and we’ll do our best. If your order has already shipped, you can still return the item once it arrives.
